Got interested in Ham Radio as a kid when my Uncle would drive us to school. He would work 6mtr AM up and down the east coast with a Halo and a Clegg-66er in his car (yes 6mtr's was alive and well everyday back then) and with my Dad who was a SWL'er and my Cousin as a Ham also, I just caught the bug. Got licensed much later but have had fun ever since!

I like jumping into pile ups for a good DX contact but enjoy rag chewing the most. I have not done anything exotic but have worked portable VP9 while on vacation. That was fun!

I work for myself sub-contracting in Telecomm, finding places for major cell companies to build towers or place antennas. I try and make sure everything gets done from start to finish. I get the contracts signed and represent at the Town Hall meetings. I love my job and I'm able to work from home most times so I get to play radio in between and while on the road as well!

I like to repair the old boatanchors, love tubes and hate SMT but appreciate the technology. I love to cook, play around with photography and been trying to play guitar for 40 years! I'm no musician but have lots of fun playing music despite myself!

The doggie in the picture is Molly the Pug. She will be 5 in January 2012, both of us a little younger in that picture... and yes she is the best dog in the world!

Hope to catch you on the air soon! Hanging out on 40 more these days as it seems it's always open to someplace. 3827 if on 80 at night, 73, Jacqui
